The bill (Reg.No. 2700) proposed to define the meaning of "pyramid scheme" and "to prohibit the intentional creation of conditions for creation of pyramid scheme, offering participation therein, or involving financial assets through a pyramid scheme." In addition, respective changes are made to the Criminal Code of Ukraine, laws “On Advertising” and “On Consumers’ Rights Procedure.”
The document provides establishing that the intentional creation of conditions for creation of pyramid scheme, offering participation therein, or involving financial assets through a pyramid scheme is prohibited in Ukraine.
